Funeral services for son of NYS Trooper killed in Afghanistan

The New York State Troopers PBA sends it condolences to Trooper Christopher Smith and his family for the loss of their son, Lance Cpl. Zachary Smith, who was killed while serving with the U.S. Marines in Afghanistan. Zachary Smith served his country bravely and proudly and made the ultimate sacrifice, and for his dedication and service we will be forever grateful.

Calling hours will be held from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at the Dagon Funeral Home in Hornell, and the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Ann's Church on Erie Avenue in Hornell.
