PBA interviewed by newspaper about need for high-powered rifles for Troopers

The PBA has long been speaking out about the need for more high-powered weaponry for our members, in light of incidents such as the shooting on I-90 in Rensselaer County last year. This issue came to light again recently during legislative hearings about the proposed 2010 - 2011 Executive Budget for New York state. The Times Union newspaper of Albany published a story in today's edition about that issue, including quotes from PBA President Thomas H. Mungeer.
