Massachusetts Tpr killed in line of duty today

The NY State Troopers PBA sends its condolences to the family, friends and fellow law enforcement officers of Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Doug Weddleton, who was killed early this morning while working at a construction detail. Sgt. Weddleton was hit by a vehicle driven by a drunk driver, and that vehicle had first been hit by a vehicle driven by another drunk driver. The job of a State Trooper is dangerous and unpredictable, and we will honor Sgt. Weddleton for his ultimate sacrifice.
