Man accused of assaulting Trooper found after nine-day search

An illegal immigrant wanted in connection with the assault of a New York State Trooper  in Washington County by dragging the Trooper along a pickup truck was found after a nine-day search. Thankfully, no Troopers or other law enforcement officers were injured during the apprehension of the suspect in a barn in Rensselaer County. The Trooper is still recovering from his injuries.
