NYS Absentee Ballots

The vote on Proposal 1 of “Shall there be a convention to revise the Constitution and amend the same?” is quickly approaching. By now, the public should be aware of the life-changing ramifications possible if a constitutional convention is held. The PBA urges everyone to vote NO to prop 1 this Election Day, Nov. 7, 2017. We also ask that you tell your friends, neighbors and family members to do the same.

If you will not be in your county on Election Day, please print an NYS Absentee Ballot Application (or click here for the PDF version NYS Absentee Ballot Application)and mail it to your County Board of Elections (or click here for the PDF version County Board of Elections) in order to receive a ballot in the mail. Upon completion, applications must be mailed to your county board no later than the seventh day before the election or delivered in person no later than the day before the election. The ballot itself must either be personally delivered to the Board of Elections no later than the close of polls on Election Day, or postmarked by a governmental postal service no later than the day before the election and received no later than the seventh day after the election.
