Inspector General investigation
I have received outreach from numerous members regarding the Ryder Cup incident and want to acknowledge that we continue to closely monitor this situation. We are respectful of the Inspector General’s investigation into this matter and eagerly await the IG’s findings.
Supplemental fund check
We are happy to hear that many retired members have received their yearly supplemental fund checks. A few have called with concerns over the pay stub and what it reflects for tax withholdings. While it does reflect Federal and NY tax withholdings, it does not show the employee portion of FICA withholdings. That FICA amount is 7.65% of the gross earnings for the employee.
