History of the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc.
The Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc., (PBA) was originally formed in 1943 and incorporated on March 11, 1944 as the”PBA of the New York State Police, Inc”. The name was changed to the current “PBA of the New York State Troopers, Inc. on March 15, 1979. Offices were first located in New York City but were moved to Albany in the 1970s.
