Appeals Court upholds conviction of Trooper-killer Ralph Phillips

An Appeals Court has unanimously upheld the conviction of Ralph Phillips, who murdered Trooper Joseph Longobardo and wounded Troopers Donald Baker Jr. (now a Sergeant) and Sean Brown. The Appellate Division of State Supreme Court ruled against Phillips’ arguments that he was coerced into a plea deal and that he had inadequate legal representation.

The State Troopers PBA is pleased to see justice continuing to be served.
