Thousands of law enforcement officers from New York State and across the country attended the funeral and paid respects to New York State Trooper Ross Riley, who died in the line of duty on November 20 from injuries sustained during a training exercise with the Special Operations Response Team. Trooper Riley, who served with the New York State Police for 17 years, was remembered as a dedicated and selfless Trooper, father, and friend. The New York State Troopers PBA continues to mourn his loss.
